Equine Therapy — Lipica

Created complex case study, workflow and marketing strategy for the project "Equine assisted therapy" for Lipica Stud Farm in Slovenia.
Nestled in Slovenia, the historic Lipica Stud Farm has been a home of equestrian elegance since 1580. It was here that the "Equine Assisted Therapy" case study took place in 2013, under the auspices of the Center for Child Health. This innovative program was meticulously developed by pediatrician Milivoj Jovančević, sociologist Mladen Knežević and me, leveraging the therapeutic potential of the Lipizzaner horses.
Lipizzaner horses, renowned for their compassionate nature, became instrumental in providing unique therapeutic experiences to children. The initiative's marketing strategy was thoughtfully designed to extend its reach to those in need, while paying homage to the Lipica Stud Farm's rich heritage.
The collaboration between Prof. Jovančević and Knežević epitomized a blend of medical and social sciences, fostering a holistic approach to child health care. Their joint efforts culminated in a case study that exemplified integrated health care, putting together scientific diligence with an understanding of the social and emotional facets of child development. This case study was a multidisciplinary collaboration with the purpose of promoting and advancing child health and well-being.
