GDPR Process Alignment

My contributions were instrumental in bringing LittleDot platform into full GDPR compliance, serving as the primary point of contact between the development and legal teams. I led a comprehensive audit of all user data flows across the website, identifying various areas requiring remediation in data collection, storage, and third-party sharing practices.

This included rewriting our privacy policy in plain language, overhauling cookie consent mechanisms to meet opt-in requirements, and implementing automated data retention and deletion workflows. I translated complex regulatory guidance from our legal team into clear, actionable assignments for developers — ensuring nothing was lost in interpretation.

As a result, we established documented protocols for handling data subject rights requests (access, deletion, portability), and both front-end and back-end systems passed a third-party GDPR audit with no critical findings. Beyond compliance, the changes measurably improved user trust signals, including an increase in consent opt-in rates following the consent flow redesign.
